Back in black!(And purple)

Sorry about the month long hiatus! Had a trip to hawaii and whatnots. Now, I had previously completed three chapters of moonlight guardians, but i realized something. The wa I was writing had Vonetau run away and become depressed when he found out he was a Salac, and it all felt very forced to me. That's when I realized: It WAS forced. Vonetau wouldn't react like that. So, I've scrapped chapters 2 and 3 (but keeping around the files for details like names and places) and am currently rewriting half of chapter 1. This portrays Vonetau as the roll-with-the-punches smart aleck he is, and will hopefully be a bit easier to work with once I get the ball rolling.

And so it begins...

Hello! My name (that I'm using online) is Quill&Scroll! I'm in the process of writing a book that will be ready to publish by around this time next year. It's called 'Moonlight Guardians', it takes place in a world where everyone is in elemental clans. Each one has their own mark, a physical trait that comes out at the age of twelve that resides in the hair or eyes. Now, there is a main ring of elemental clans, them being fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, ice, light and shadow. There are also branch families, plants, metal, sound, and gravity. The story centers around Vonetau Salac, who is of the shadow. I chose his element to show that just because something is dark, it doesn't mean that it's bad! Now, I will be cranking out a new chapter of this every two weeks, with chapter three due on the tenth. I'll also be posting this every week or so to show my progress and give a small summary of the story so far, this way you're updated all the way. One and two are already done, so the next post will be catch up for you guys. Until then, I will accept questions! See you in the future!
